Contactless plastic RFID card with one of the most widespread Mifare 2K EV3 chips operating at a frequency of 13,56 kHz, EAL5+ certified. Allows data to be written and overwritten. Its use is universal, from attendance, access and identification systems to cashier systems, mountain ski passes, loyalty and parking systems, etc. The memory capacity is 2 KB. The card contains a unique production number. The chip comes from the manufacturer NXP. Made in the Czech Republic. The cards come from a leading and proven card manufacturer.
The card supports hardware encryption algorithms DES / 2K3DES / 3K3DES / AES. The data transfer rate is up to 848 kbit/s. The EV2 chip brings great performance, better security and support for multiple applications (separate management of encryption keys based on applications). In addition, the EV2 and EV3 chips support proximity control. This means that the card is able to confirm to the reader that it is actually near the reader and that this is not a remote data attack from a hacker. The MIFARE DESFire EV3 chip also supports an interesting feature, new among DESFire chips. This feature is called the SUN message. SUN stands for "Secure Unique NFC". With this feature, the chip is able to generate a unique and secure authentication code every time the tag is read: a kind of one-time key generator. Each time the chip is read, it generates a different string. In this way, the content is protected from cloning.
This chip card can be printed in full color without any problems, supplemented with a barcode, text, image, logo, etc. You can learn more about printing options in a separate article. The dimensions are standardized, i.e. CR80, thickness 0.76 mm. The material is PVC, i.e. polyvinyl chloride.
